Great Barrier Reef Foundation is currently designing a Pacific program of work that will build on successful pilots in Palau and New Caledonia. The program aims to work at the regional, national and local level to exchange Australian coral reef restoration\/adaptation science and innovation with practitioners in the field. We will be co-designing the Pacific Program with our partners in Australia and the Pacific over the coming months. We\u2019re closely partnering with SPREP and SPC\u2019s PCCOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a first step in our Pacific-Australia coral reef scientific\/manager exchange program, we would like to join MANACO. We would also like to work on the principle of supporting and resourcing MANACO rather than duplicating work in any way.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

La GBRF \u00e9labore actuellement un programme de travail pour le Pacifique qui s’appuiera sur des projets pilotes r\u00e9ussis \u00e0 Palau et en Nouvelle-Cal\u00e9donie. Le programme vise \u00e0 travailler au niveau r\u00e9gional, national et local pour \u00e9changer autour de la science et l’innovation australienne en mati\u00e8re de restauration et d’adaptation des r\u00e9cifs coralliens avec les praticiens sur le terrain. Au cours des prochains mois, nous concevrons le programme pour le Pacifique en collaboration avec nos partenaires en Australie et dans le Pacifique. Nous travaillons en \u00e9troite collaboration avec le SPREP et le PCCOS de la CPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Comme premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de notre programme d’\u00e9changes entre scientifiques et gestionnaires de r\u00e9cifs coralliens du Pacifique et de l’Australie, nous aimerions rejoindre MANACO. Nous aimerions \u00e9galement travailler sur le principe du soutien et des ressources de MANACO plut\u00f4t que de dupliquer le travail de quelque mani\u00e8re que ce soit.
